This long exposure, around 10 minutes, was captured at Tentsmuir in Fife in the grasslands between forest and beach. You can just make out a small strip of sea at the horizon. It's a location I've visited several times without getting the right shot(s), as from a photographic perspective the majority of the area is barren and featureless. There is a certain appeal in that though which is probably why I've kept returning, and this is close to the sort of image I imagined on my first visit. The quote comes from Leon Foucault, inventor of the Foucault Pendulum, describing his device which demonstrates the earth's rotation.

I also shot some video footage here which I'm working into a short film, if it turns out well enough I'll post it to the site shortly.
